Dinky Doo's Mom

This is Dinky Doo. Her name is fan made because they never said it in the show due to her being a background pony. Sometimes, Dinky has a cutie mark, but most of the time she doesn't.
According to fans, Dinky Doo is Derpy's daughter. (Try say that ten times fast!) The show never showed any evidence of her being Derpy's daughter, but that's just what some bronies and pegisisters say. The show does show some things that would mean she isn't Derpy's daughter.

Exhibit A
Exhibit A: These pictures were from the Last Round Up. The first picture is of a stallion and mare looking at Dinky as if she was their daughter. The second picture is of the same stallion and mare from the first picture talking to each other. The last picture is Dinky on a train with the mare. Looking at these pictures, it would appear that the stallion and mare are married and Dinky is their daughter. The mare as we know is Carrot Top/ Golden Harvest. (Depending on what you choose to call her.) This would mean that Dinky is Carrot Top's daughter.

Exhibit B
Exhibit B: This picture is from Sister Hooves Social. Here, we see Dinky and Amethyst Star winning an eating contest. Since this is the Sister Hooves Social, these two must be sisters. They are both Unicorns. Since Derpy is a Pegasus, shouldn't at least one of her daughters be a Pegasus? Or is this like the Cakes' babies are a Unicorn and a Pegasus even
though the Cakes' are both Earth Ponies?

Exhibit C: Doesn't Derpy look about the same age as Amethyst Star. Did she have her first baby when she was a year old? That's impossible. Then again, Carrot Top looks about the same age as Amethyst Star, too.

As you can see from the evidence shown above, it would make sense that Dink is not Derpy's daughter. Maybe we'll find out more about Dinky in a future episode. Thanks for reading!

The Votes are In 2

The polls have closed, the votes have been counted, and it's time to announce the winners of polls! In the pictures showing the polls, the first number is the number of votes received, the second is the percent of votes that is. The option with the longest blue line won.

Who is the best princess?

Luna! Princess Luna is the best princess in MLP:FiM! It looks like we agree with Pipsqueak: Princess Luna is our favorite princess ever! Let's up to see more of her in season 3.

What is the best type of pony?

Pegasus Ponies! Congratulations to all Pegasi! Sorry the whole Pegasopolis thing didn't work out. We really appreciate you changing the weather for us.

What season was better?

Season 2! I agree completely! Season 2 was amazing. It looks like this show is going to be like many others: Every season gets crazier and better than the last! Let's hope season 3 is better than season 2 or 1.

Who is the best villain?

Discord! The spirit of chaos won! Don't be sad Chrysalis fans, there are rumors that Discord will team up with Chrysalis in season 3. How about we reward Discord for winning this vote by freeing him from stone? (Yes, I know I spelled villain wrong on the poll. :) Oops!)

Of the following, who is the best extra?

Derpy Hooves! The muffin princess won by a landslide! Probably because she is the most famous background pony and the best! (According to the poll) :)

Adventure Ponies Game

Most of us have probably seen the 8-bit MLP commercial the Hub released a few months ago. Did you know that the game Pinkie Pie is playing is real? People who attend the Golden Yolk at Comic Con 2012 will get early access to the game. Hopefully, the Hub will release the game and let everypony who didn't go to Comic Con get to play it too.

For more information go to http://www.equestriagaming.com/2012/06/official-8-bit-pony-game-coming-soon.html or http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2012/06/28/the-hub-tv-network-programming-spotlighted-at-comic-con-international-with-five-panels-and-an-aquabats-rock-concert-990102.

Season 3 hints

Season 3 of My Little Pony has been confirmed for a while now, but nopony knows exactly when it will start. Many bronies predict it will start around September 15, 2012. This hasn't been confirmed though.
What sort of things should we expect in season 3?

***SPOILER ALERT!***

I found this comment on http://mlp.wikia.com/wiki/Episodes:

John de Lancie voices Discord. M.A. Larson and Meghan McCathy write MLP:FiM episodes. This could mean Chrysalis might team-up with Discord. (Which sounds awesome!) Although, John de Lancie never said he was going to voice Discord, he might.

Tara Strong (voice of Twilight Sparkle) said that in season 3, there will be an episode that will "blow our mind" and is on a "whole new level."

This doesn't tell us much about a new episode, but Tara Strong tweeted: "In Season 3, Twilight gets-" That's all it said.

Shannon Chan-Kent (Voices Pinkie Pie when she is singing) confirms there will be a Christmas episode with a Pinkie Pie song.

There are rumors that there will only be 13 episodes in season 3. :(

These are just a few rumors and stuff to expect in season 3. Some of it might not be true. Thanks for reading!

Cello or Double Bass?

Octavia picture from
 http://broniesandmagic.tumblr.com/
This is Octavia. She plays the cello at the Grand Galloping Gala and the Canterlot Garden Party. Just like I said- she plays the cello. If you don't know much about music, I'll tell you what is odd about that. You stand up to play a bass and you sit down to play a cello. Octavia stands up to play her cello.
Than how do we know it's a cello? We can tell by looking at where the neck meets the body, and by looking at the flares on the body.
I'll let Octavia explain the difference. Octavia:
*ahem* Let me explain to you why I play the cello and not the double bass. In the diagram below, the red circles designate the flares of the body. If it's not plainly obvious, the cello body has flares that flare out and the double bass body has little to no flares. Modern double basses, however, have started to develop outward flares on the body.
The distinct difference based on visuals on determining whether it is a cello or double bass is where the top of the body meets the fingerboard (the long black board that holds the strings). On a cello, the point where the fingerboard and the top of the body meets is flat, whereas on a double bass, the part is pointed upward. And there you have it! I play the cello!

Curly Hair

I was reading a post on another blog named My Little Pony News about curling your My Little Pony's hair. It's really easy and fun. (Which is why I spent most of my day in the bathroom curling, uncurling, and re-curling my pony's hair.) I'm new at it so the curls don't look perfect but I am very pleased with the way Rainbow Dash's tail turned out. After I finished the curling, and used streamers to tie a nice, purple, ribbon around her tail. For Rarity, I just used one of the clips she came with. Click here to go to a website with easy, step-by-step instructions of how to curl ponies hair.
Note: Curling doesn't work on people.
In the instructions in the link, you don't really need a rat tail comb. A blow dryer will help the curls dry faster, but you have to be holding them in place and it messes up other parts of hair that aren't being curled. You should leave the curlers in for a few hours. If you take them out too soon, the hair won't hold its curl.
Good luck and have fun making your ponies the crème de la crème!!!
