My Opinions: Season 3 Episodes 1-5

Derpy??? 

I think season 3 is kicking off to a pretty fine start! It has lots of things in it for the fans, but barely any Derpy! The only reason I say "barely" and not "not at all" is that in Magic Duel you can see what looks like her mane sticking out from behind Bon Bon. She was also in the stands at the end of Magic Duel during Twilight's magic show.

The Crystal Empire- Part 1

I liked this episode a lot and I thought it was a good season opener. I also learned a very valuable lesson, "DON'T LOOK FOR SPOILERS; THEY RUIN THE SHOW!" I saw almost all of this episode through spoilers and was disappointed with myself.
Sombra did not make it on my list of favorite villains which right now only has Discord and Chrysalis. A question I had about this episode was: If it's the Crystal EMPIRE, why is Sombra a king and not an emperor? My favorite line was when they finished talking to the librarian, and Pinkie Pie says, "I like her!"

The Crystal Empire- Part 2

I  also enjoyed this episode, but I liked it better than part 1, because it was new and un-spoiled for me! My favorite part was when Twilight is sliding down the bottom of the stairs. My question for this episode was: Why did spike turn crystal like the crystal ponies? He's not a pony! I also would like to know what the book Luna has at the end was... Anyway, I loved this episode!

Too Many Pinkie Pies

This episode was pretty good. I had a lot of trouble understanding Pinkie Pie though. I love the part when Pinkie Pie makes a G3 face! It had a good lesson which I may have used in my real life... It wasn't my favorite episode because Pinkie Pie started to give me a headache. I thought the "test" was kind of cruel. I wasn't sure if it was the best idea, but they managed to get the real Pinkie, so it's all good. :)

One Bad Apple

This episode was super! I absolutely loved the song! Scootaloo flew a little, and Sweetie Belle made her horn sparkle a little. I also liked the A-Team music that was played when they were building the Apple Float. (Of course it wasn't a real Apple float because there were Windows!...) Sweetie Belle drinking the milkshake was too cute! :3 I didn't really agree with the ending. The CMC's were the wounded party, so Babs should have apologized first, right? I wasn't much for the character Babs. She didn't really grow on me. I still really liked this episode though!

I think this was the best episode in the season so far! There was so much fanservice:

• "Alicorn" was fan made.
• Trixie returns!
• Pinkie Pie's dad
• Rock farm!
• Derpy!!!
• Parasprites!
• More Zecora
• Empire Strikes Back reference.
• Lyra and Bon Bon
• Lyra acting like a human
• Fluttertree
• And Male Applejack!

I liked how it had a really big problem! Not something small like a mean Griffon, or a grumpy donkey. This was a big problem: Ponyville was taken over! Dun, dun, dun!!! Zecora's line, "Unlearn what you have learned," Hmm... I wonder where she got that line. *Cough. Yoda! Male Aplejack made me laugh, and I felt bad for Pinkie Pie. Right when she is about to say something- "My Little Pony!" The credits come. Yeah, so I thought this episode was super amazing!

So, there is a new episode this Saturday and I'm a very excited! Season 3 kicked off to a pretty good start and I can't wait to see it! Hmm.... Maybe I'll watch just one more spoiler...

Season 3 Premeires Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the day we've been waiting for for over 6 months: THE PREMIERE OF SEASON 3!!!

I really hope the new season is really awesome and makes the huge wait worth it!

In my opinion, today is the slowest day ever! I know why too!

Reason 1) Today is the only day Time has left to stop us from watching a new season of ponies, so Father Time is going to make it last!

Reason 2) They say a pot won't boil if you watch it, and that's pretty much what I'm doing! I have a countdown to season 3 at the bottom of my computer screen counting down ever hour, every minute, every second, every millisecond to season 3!

Let's check on how other people are spending the day before season 3:

Tara Strong (voice of Twilight Sparkle) took over the Hub's Twitter page at 3:45pm ET, and answered questions about season 3... Only there weren't very many questions about season 3 asked. I asked the following questions:
1) Is DJ Pon-3 in season 3?
2) In season 3, does Spike go out with Rarity?
3) Is there more Applejack in season 3 than in previous seasons?
4) Does Twilight like to eat pickles?

The only question of mine she answered was number 4. Apparently, Twilight loves to eat dill pickles. Huh, you learn something new everyday I guess. Tara Strong gave the Hub's Twitter page back at around 30-45 minutes later.

Hot Topic  said they were celebrating the near return of My Little Pony by interviewing Fluttershy for us. Here's the 1 minute interview video:

I am spending the last day before season 3 going absolutely crazy! I got the countdown at the bottom of my screen, asked Tara Strong questions via Twitter, visited Facebook a couple thousand times trying to find something interesting to make the time go by faster, listened to numerous MLP songs, visited every My Little Pony website I could think of, and listened to Everfree Radio. Later, I'm going to play with a new movie making program on my computer and try make a video about Princess Luna. I don't think I can stand one more minute without new episodes of ponies! Right now, I look like Twilight from Lesson Zero.


Well, my Season 3 countdown is still counting down and the number is getting smaller and smaller as I type. (It feels like Christmas Eve to me...) Season 3 is just around the corner and I can't wait! Set your alarm clock, set you DVR, set out all of your ponies in front of the TV so they can watch the new episode with you, set you VCR recording thing if anypony still uses them... And get ready for ponies!!! November 10th, 2012, 10am ET, 7am PT, on The Hub!

New Plushes

Some new MLP plush toys are being released on July 29, 2012 by a company known as Funrise Toy Corp. But some excited, brony, Target owners are already stocking they're shelves with these cuddly, little ponies.
