2. There are three ways a dragon grows up. The first one is magic. Magic makes the baby dragon grow up like in The Cutie Mark Chronicles. The second type is when greediness makes a dragon grow up like in Secret of My Excess. The third way is when a dragon grows up the same way everypony else does: growing old over the years. When Spike grows up by getting old, he'll probably have wings. Just like when kids get older, they grow pimples... Well, kind of like that.
4. This theory was submitted by jakeski. jakeski said: "It seems likely to me that Spike could be a Sea-Dragon?" Spike might not have wings at all because he is a Sea-Dragon. Maybe when he grows up naturally (not greediness) he will look more or less like the sea serpent from episode 2.

ReplyDeleteI think that since almost every adult dragon in the show is shown to be greedy, and has massive hordes that greed isn't the reason adult spike didn't have wings. However if it is unnatural for dragons to grow from greed then I think Spike himself is unnatural.NO evidence has been shown that dragons can use magic( besides Spike's letters) and Spike was hatched by Twilight using magic. Since this magic came from a pony it might of changed his genes to were his genes are different from any other dragons. I think its either something like that, or that Spike himself is a different type of dragon then the ones you typically see, maybe from a different part of the world.
