Adventure Ponies Game

Most of us have probably seen the 8-bit MLP commercial the Hub released a few months ago. Did you know that the game Pinkie Pie is playing is real? People who attend the Golden Yolk at Comic Con 2012 will get early access to the game. Hopefully, the Hub will release the game and let everypony who didn't go to Comic Con get to play it too.

Season 3 hints

Season 3 of My Little Pony has been confirmed for a while now, but nopony knows exactly when it will start. Many bronies predict it will start around September 15, 2012. This hasn't been confirmed though.
What sort of things should we expect in season 3?

***SPOILER ALERT!***

I found this comment on http://mlp.wikia.com/wiki/Episodes:

John de Lancie voices Discord. M.A. Larson and Meghan McCathy write MLP:FiM episodes. This could mean Chrysalis might team-up with Discord. (Which sounds awesome!) Although, John de Lancie never said he was going to voice Discord, he might.

Tara Strong (voice of Twilight Sparkle) said that in season 3, there will be an episode that will "blow our mind" and is on a "whole new level."

This doesn't tell us much about a new episode, but Tara Strong tweeted: "In Season 3, Twilight gets-" That's all it said.

Shannon Chan-Kent (Voices Pinkie Pie when she is singing) confirms there will be a Christmas episode with a Pinkie Pie song.

There are rumors that there will only be 13 episodes in season 3. :(

These are just a few rumors and stuff to expect in season 3. Some of it might not be true. Thanks for reading!

Cello or Double Bass?

Octavia picture from
 http://broniesandmagic.tumblr.com/
This is Octavia. She plays the cello at the Grand Galloping Gala and the Canterlot Garden Party. Just like I said- she plays the cello. If you don't know much about music, I'll tell you what is odd about that. You stand up to play a bass and you sit down to play a cello. Octavia stands up to play her cello.
Than how do we know it's a cello? We can tell by looking at where the neck meets the body, and by looking at the flares on the body.
I'll let Octavia explain the difference. Octavia:
*ahem* Let me explain to you why I play the cello and not the double bass. In the diagram below, the red circles designate the flares of the body. If it's not plainly obvious, the cello body has flares that flare out and the double bass body has little to no flares. Modern double basses, however, have started to develop outward flares on the body.
The distinct difference based on visuals on determining whether it is a cello or double bass is where the top of the body meets the fingerboard (the long black board that holds the strings). On a cello, the point where the fingerboard and the top of the body meets is flat, whereas on a double bass, the part is pointed upward. And there you have it! I play the cello!
